I read about iodine so I started supplementing myself with it (iodoral) and before I know it,.. my throat is always swollen, like I created a goiter from too much iodine.. now I can’t eat fish or anything with iodine.. also appear to be celiac.. my throat swells up with cheese, dairy, wheat…I seen to have become iodine sensitive. I had an iodine test taken and I have enough iodine.. do you have any suggestions?.. I’ve been to a naturopath and she perscribed bioidentical hormones, but she put iodine in them and my throat is constantly swollen, so I got off of those and don’t know what to do now…

Thanks, Peggy

Hi Peggy,

We strongly recommend you consult with a physician to reach a diagnosis and have allergies, thyroid problems etc., ruled out.

Once you have been given a diagnosis, we will be happy to help determine, if need be, what remedy would best suit you.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.

I agree, go to a physician first and get a diagnosis because it will be always better to know what a person has or is going through before any medications or solutions to health.
