Many of us walk around not knowing we have bad breath or that we are at risk for bad breath. Most bad breath can be eliminated by practicing good dental habits such as brushing after meals, flossing at least once a day, brushing or scraping your tongue daily, and keeping regular appointments with your dentist so that you can catch dental disease early.
Most bad breath disappears when the cause is eliminated such as when the garlic or onions we ate clears our body or when the cold we caught runs its course and the post-nasal drip goes away. If you notice persistent bad breath it is important to see your dentist or doctor for a diagnosis.
