This blend can also be added to 1 ounce of Sunflower oil or Jojoba and applied on the skin before going out doors to repel insects (mainly mosquitoes) from bothering you. If you will be in the sun, omit the Bergamot from this recipe as Bergamot can cause a photosensitization reaction to occur in some people.
Clove oil is great to use for toothaches. You can make your own by mixing together equal amounts of whole Cloves and vegetable oil and allowing it to sit for several weeks. Cinnamon oil can be made the same way.
Add to a lukewarm bath.
Try the following combination of Essential Oils in a warm (not hot) bath to ease stress and muscle pain:
Draw the bath first, add the Essential Oils, swirl them around with your foot, get in and relax. Allow yourself 10 to 20 minutes. Do not get the bath water in your eyes, as the oils will sting. Use this formula up to once a day for 3 days a week over a two to three week period.
You can also use this recipe to create a massage blend.
Blend well in an amber bottle. Shake well before using. Massage into sore back muscles.
Blend all together and use for massaging that back ache.

Profiles of Single Essential Oils in this Blend:
Cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum)
Action: Antispasmodic (neuromuscular), Antibacterial, expectorant and anti-infectious.
Indications: Indigestion, loss of appetite, coughs, debility, Halitosis (Bad Breath), mental fatigue, Headaches, Heartburn, Nausea and Sciatica. Cardamom may also alleviate menstrual problems and irregularities.
Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis CT 1,8 cineol)
Indications: Rheumatism, Arthritis, Myalgia, Hepatitis, liver conditions, menstrual disturbances, Hypertension (weak doses), hypotension (strong doses), Indigestion, Bronchitis, respiratory and lung infections, Hair Loss (Alopecia), Asthma.
Other Uses: Improves Concentration and stimulates the scalp.
Vetiver (Vetiveria zizanioides)
Action: Antiseptic, antispasmodic, calming, grounding, a rubefacient (locally warming), sedative (to the Nervous system), stimulant (circulatory, production of red corpuscles).
Indications: Used traditionally for Arthritic symptoms.
Peppermint (Mentha piperita)
Action: Anticarcinogenic, supports digestion, expels worms, decongestant, anti-infectious, Antibacterial, antifungal, mucolytic, stimulant, hypertensive, cardiotonic, stimulates the gallbladder, is a pain-reliever, expectorant, Anti-Inflammatory for the intestinal and urinary tract. Other Uses: May be used for Acne, burns, circulatory problems (improves blood flow), Depression gingivitis, liver problems, sterility, digestion, Insomnia, menstrual problems, Neuralgia (severe pain along the nerve), regenerating tissue and nerves, pancreas imbalances, ringworm, Sore Throats, and wounds. Also recommended for Liver Disorders and Hepatitis.
Basil (Ocimum basilicum)
Action: Powerful antispasmodic, anti-infectious, antiviral, Anti-Inflammatory, decongestant (veins, arteries of the lungs, prostate), and is Antibacterial.
Indications: Migraines, mental fatigue, scanty menstrual periods.
Other uses: Relaxing to both striated and smooth muscles, soothing for insect bites and stimulating to the sense of smell. It may help Bronchitis and chest infections.
Application Methods: Diffuse 15 mins as needed. Apply 1-2 drops over heart, thymus, wrists, temples. Mix 5 drops with 1 TBSP Epsom Salts or baking soda and add to bath while filling. Apply to corresponding reflex points on feet. Wear as a perfume or cologne.

Safety Data: This blend may be irritating to those with sensitive skin. Avoid eye contact. In case of accidental eye contact, put a few drops of any pure vegetable oil in the eye and get medical help if necessary. Never use water to dilute or rinse.

Diarrhea may be caused by a whole range of conditions which generally fall into the three categories of food-related, nerve-related, and viral-related. In all cases, drink large quantities of water. Follow the same treatment but use the oils which are appropriate to your particular condition:
Use one of the recipes above, dilute in 1 teaspoon Massage Oil and massage over the whole of the abdomen area.
Make a drink by adding 1 drop of the relevent Essential Oil to a teaspoon of honey and diluting it in a glass of warm water. Sip slowly.
Massage well into the affected area:
Dilute above recipe in 1 teaspoon of Massage Oil.
It is helpful to apply this massage oil mixture after a cabbage compress has been applied. Iron a large outer leaf form a cabbage to release the Vitamins and enzymes and apply while still hot to the area. Leave for fifteen minutes. Also use the combination of Essential Oils above undiluted in hot baths- 4 drops per bath.
