Try some of these recipes for homemade cough and cold remedies:

Ginger Tea

* 1 inch or so fresh ginger root, sliced thin or grated
* 1/2 a fresh lemon, sliced (peel & all)
* 1 clove garlic, mashed
* ~2 c water
* Very generous spoonful honey

Place water, ginger, lemon, & garlic in saucepan; bring to boil, then turn down heat and simmer gently for 20 min. Strain into mugs and add lots of honey. The tea *will* get stronger if you let it sit! Most invigorating! The garlic adds a bit of bitterness, but the honey masks that. This …

Garlic Sauce INGREDIENTS 5 tbsp. garlic (minced) 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise 1/4 cup whit wine Juice of one lemon 2 tbsp. butter 1 tsp. white pepper You can add chili if you like a spicy garlic sauce. DIRECTIONS heat the oile in a pan, then add the garilc, wine and lemon juice. Cook the mixture in the pan for about 2 minutes to reduce some of the liquid. Then turn off the heat and add in the butter. Slowly stir white pepper into the mayonnaise until it is mixed well.

This recipe, if taken 2 times per day, it will eventually kill all parasites in the body. It will kill bacteria and viruses too. It makes one feel very good, and clear minded.

Pork Chili (Verde Style) This is a recipe I devised while hanging out at the table with friends discussing our different approaches to food. I wanted to make chili but not my usual red style. so I made up this recipe and then I refined it, and then I refined it a little more. I think this makes a great change in pace from texas style chili, so try it out and enjoy! INGREDIENTS 3 lbs. boneless pork shoulder 7 tomatillos 5-6 cloves garlic 1 white onion 3-4 jalapenos 1 cup water 2 1/2 cups white kidney beans 1/2 cup black beans 8 oz. monterey jack cheese 6- 8 oz. sour cream 2 limes 1 bunch cilantro 1-2 cups vegetable stock 1/2 cup white wine 1 tsp. cumin 1 tsp.
