Anti-inflammatory Properites of New Zealand Green-lipped Mussel…proven!

Green-lipped mussel is sometimes promoted as being the most potent natural anti-inflammatory nutrient available. I am not sure if this is really the case so we don’t claim it to be so in those products in which we use it, but there is certainly no doubt that it works well for the majority of people.
A new study from researchers at Australia’s RMIT University have found that the anti-inflammatory properties of the commercially extracted green-lipped mussel to be sufficiently potent to enable them to be a viable alternative to the conventional non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs NSAIDs and Fish Oil treatment in the relief of the symptoms of Arthritis. We have combined both in our GLM-Omega 3-Plus so our customers can get the both of best worlds!
The novel forms of Omega 3 essential Fatty Acids found within the green-lipped mussel is thought to originate from the algae and other micro organisms unique to New Zealand waters
