Basic Anatomy and Physiology Course - Home Study

ANAT-01 Basic Anatomy and Physiology Home Study Course - 15 modules - 75 hours

For any natural health practitioner a solid working knowledge of how the human body works is essential. This course is included in our Basic Certified Reflexology Course and our Advanced/Comprehensive Reflexology Course. Prostate cancer treatments

The prostate, a walnut sized gland in the pelvic area, is a male gland that surrounds the urethra. It is also a source of some of the urinary and other problems that men face after forty. Cancer is a serious prostate condition that affects nearly 16% of men in America.

As men advance in age the risk of developing a prostate Cancer increases. Genetics and race are factors that have been known to increase the probability of developing the disease. Diet and lifestyles too have an effect on overall prostate health.

There is no single treatment that can suit all cases of prostate Cancer. Upon detection there are a few factors that require careful consideration before any decision is taken with regards to the way forward. These decisions should be based on knowledge and deep understanding of the specific condition of the individual. It needs to be based on the extent to which it has spread.

Effective Antibacterial Essential Oil Blend

Antibacterial Essential Oil Blend (10ml) - (Companion Herbal Remedies - Immunity Plus, Detox Drops, Clear Skin Acne Gel)

To Cleanse/Purify the Air, Treatment of Insect Bites and Wound Cleansing: This blend is formulated for diffusing to help purify the home and work areas. It has strong Antibacterial properties. It cleanses the air and neutralizes mildew, cigarette smoke and disagreeable odors.

When applied directly to the skin, it may be used to cleans cuts and scrapes and may help neutralize the poison of bites from spiders, bees, hornets and wasps. Please do not substitute this blend for qualified medical care.

Ingredients: Synergistic blend of oils including Tea Tree, Citronella, Lemongrass, Lavendin, Rosemary

Oil Blend for Lumbago

June 22nd, 2007

Put the following oils onto a hot compress and apply to the lower back:

3 drops Rosemary oil
1 drop Clove oil
1 drop Eucalyptus oil

When the compress becomes cold, replace it with another. Do this at least 3 times a day. Massage the lower back and into the crevice of the buttocks with:

3 drops Peppermint oil
5 drops Rosemary oil
2 drops Chamomile oil
diluted into 2 teaspoons Base Oil

Balancing Chakra Bath

Colored Light Meditation

Every day I give myself a bath, well that too, but this is a colorful light bath that clears and balances my chakras. I use it at the beginning of my day to protect myself and set my intentions.

Balancing Your Chakras in a Color Bath

Begin by sitting comfortably. Take a deep breath in through your nose, and exhale out through your mouth. Do this three times. Now begin by picturing the white light of God and of Universal love swirling around you in a counter-clockwise motion, starting at your feet, and moving up towards your head. Picture this motion of white light going around you three times, each time starting at the bottom of your feet and moving upwards.

Next, start a little bit above your head, picture a purple (crown chakra - which brings in spirit) light swirling around, try counter-clockwise, if that doesn’t quite feel right, trying move the purple light in a clockwise motion.
