How Does Homeopathy Work Anyway?

May 5th, 2007

By Susy Parker Goins

Homeopathy can seem like a completely foreign concept to those of us brought up on mainstream, allopathic medicine. The principles of Homeopathy are easily understood, however, by even novice users. With a little study and good reference materials, you can understand and apply Homeopathic Medicine to your family’s health.

The four fundamental laws of Homeopathy — the Law of Similars, the Law of Single Remedy, the Law of Minimum Dose and the Law of Direction of Cure – form the philosophical basis of this powerful healing modality. Each law identifies an aspect of Homeopathy that sets it apart from other healing philosophies.

As like is to like

The Law of Similars, so named by Homeopathy’s founder, Samuel Hahnemann, has been known for thousands of years. Physicians discussed theories on symptoms substances caused and were capable of curing as early as the time of Hippocrates and the Oracle at Delphi.

Solid Perfume Recipes

May 5th, 2007

Solid Perfume

Make a solid base out of sweet Almond oil, Beeswax and a couple of drops of Vitamin E. Heat up the oil so it’s good and warm, melt the Beeswax in it, take it off heat and let it cool slightly, stir it so it thickens, then add the Vitamin E. To this you can add any scent, put in little containers, and it will harden up. To make a lip Balm, all you need to do is add honey to this blend!!!

Solid Perfume 2

Add infused oils to jar and add wax; stir well. Add essential oils and pour into containers (lip gloss tins work well)
