Fragrant Valerian (1 part) St. Johns Wort (2 parts) Hops (3 parts) Lavender flowers (5 parts) Primrose flowers (10 parts)

Steep 1-1/2 tsp. in 1/2 cup boiling water for 10 minutes. When cool enough to drink, add 1 tsp. honey. Take before going to bed.

Hops (3 parts) Fragrant Valerian root (2 parts)

Steep 1 tsp. mixture in 1/2 cup boiling water. Take 1/2 to 1 cup a day, unsweetened, in mouthful doses. Do not take for more than 2 or 3 weeks without interruption.

Mix in equal parts. Steep 1 heaping tsp. in 1/2 cup boiling water. take shortly before going to bed, a mouthful as a time.

Mix in equal parts. Steep 1 tsp. in 1/2 cup boiling water. Take 1/2 cup warm, sweetened with raw sugar or honey, before going to bed.

Mix in equal parts. Steep 1 to 2 tsp. in 1/2 cup boiling water for a short time.

Herbal Foot Soak

2 ounces mixed fresh Herbs- such as Peppermint, Rosemary, Chamomile 4 cups boiling water 1 tablespoon Epsom salts

Roughly chop the Herbs. Put in a bowl, pour in boiling water. Let stand 1 hour; strain.

Place the “tea” water into a tub or bowl large enough to hold both feet and another 6-7 cups of warm water. Stir in Epsom salts. Soak feet 15 to 20 minutes.

Add hot water if needed to keep the temperature as warm as desired. Afterwards use a good Lotion and place cotton socks on your feet for the evening!

Cornmeal Facial Scrub

Very good for oily skin!

2 tbsp. cornmeal 1 tsp. lemon juice 2 tbsp. plain yogurt or buttermilk

Place cornmeal in bowl. Mix lemon juice and yogurt or buttermilk to make a paste. Let sit for 5 minutes.

Gently massage paste into face for 5 minutes. Avoid eye area. Rinse well with warm water. Pat dry. Tone. Moisturize.
